the hello

We are on a diet.
Well... I'm going to talk about me first, because, well, that's easiest, and TN knows I'm all about Me. Me. Me.

So anyway, I'm on a diet. Not a very strict diet... maybe i should say, I'm watching what I eat. I've cut soda out of my life ::sad::. and chips... you know, the good stuff. Food i can't keep around because I have no control over myself when it's there.

Uh, sooooooo... the real point of this post is that in the beginning of this blog, most of the food posts will be pretty healthy, then i think gradually we'll throw in "real" food that i absolutely L O V E. You know, the kind you eat and immediately gain 10lbs? Yea, that kind of food. I'll try to type down the recipes, but if you guys want to actually know how to make it, that's all TN.

I will also try to remember to take pictures of the actual food... um.. before i bite into it.

Here is one of my favorite food stories:
I love the fresh salsa that TN makes. Freshly diced tomatoes, lime, onions, some other stuff... mmm. Seems pretty healthy right? Except, when he makes it, i eat a whole bag of chips and then some just to eat this salsa!
Anyway, for awhile i kept asking him to make me the salsa since i loved it so much. So one day, he says, why don't you help me prep and i'll show you how to make it.
Easy enough right? I mean there's absolutely no cooking involved.
So he first had me dice up the tomatoes.

.....
2 and a half hours later, i was still standing there chopping up those damn tomatoes! My feet hurt, my back hurt, my hand was cramping up.
Yeah, i think twice before requesting that salsa.
But i do know one thing, once I'm off this "diet" I'm eating chips w/ salsa and drinking a liter of coke.
